Don Proctor has spent 37 years inside the banking and lending industry, the first 15 of them focused exclusively on residential mortgage lending. During that time, he closed more than 2,000 mortgage loans for borrowers across all 50 states — giving him a ground-level understanding of what real homebuyers need to know before they ever sit down with a lender.
The rest of his career has been spent doing commercial lending alongside mortgage work, deepening his understanding of how credit, cash flow, and underwriting decisions actually get made at the institutional level.
Don spent four years studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington before stepping into the banking industry — a foundation that shows in the precision of how these calculators are built. He later earned a graduate degree in banking from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
