Your Mortgage Toolbox ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Your Mortgage Toolbox mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
We do not collect, request, or store any of the following:
All calculator inputs and results exist only in your device's memory while you use the App and are discarded when you close it, unless you choose to save them using the App's built-in save feature (which stores data locally on your device only).
If you open the App through a link shared by a real estate agent or mortgage lender, the App may download a small configuration file containing that professional's publicly available contact information (name, phone number, email address, company name, and optional photo). This information is:
We do not associate this configuration with you personally or use it for any purpose other than displaying the correct branding.
The App includes an optional feature that allows you to save calculator results for future reference. Saved calculations are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. They are not uploaded to our servers, not shared with us or any third party, and are deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data.
The App includes a "Share App" feature that allows you to share a link to the App with others. When you use this feature, the App uses your device's native sharing system (iOS Share Sheet or Android Share Intent). We do not have access to who you share with or what you share. The shared link is a standard web URL pointing to www.yourmortgagetoolbox.com.
The App is built using Expo and React Native, open-source frameworks for mobile app development. These frameworks do not independently collect user data on our behalf.
The App's codebase includes the technical framework for Branch.io deep linking, which may be activated in a future update to support personalized sharing links. Branch.io is not currently active in this version of the App, and no data is transmitted to Branch.io. When and if this feature is enabled, this Privacy Policy will be updated and users will be notified.

The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive device resources.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Because we collect no personal information from any users, this App is safe for use by individuals of all ages.
Because we do not collect or store personal user data on our servers, your information is not at risk from a server-side data breach. Any data stored locally on your device (such as saved calculations or agent configuration) is protected by your device's own security mechanisms, including encryption-at-rest where supported by your operating system.
The App may contain links to external websites, such as an agent's home search page, a lender's loan application portal, or our website at www.yourmortgagetoolbox.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
